Arcohe Unified School District, 11192 Ivie Rd., Herald, Ca. 95638 will be holding an educational event on Monday, December 4 and Tuesday, December 5, starting at 8:20 am. A Seed Survivor Mobile is coming, sponsored by Nutrien and the Learn About Ag non-profit. Hands on and interactive stations as well as video will be available for students to learn about the current issues of food production needed to feed the world's population, fresh water supply, characteristics of fertile, and infertile soil, recycling, composting, etc.

Last week, we held an assembly entitled "Math and Mariachi" for our elementary students. At the session, they learned about the connection between math and music and the different ways to make music with ordinary materials. The students had a lot of fun!
