Arcohe School believes in strong community partnerships for the benefit of our students. Below you will find some links to some great community organizations. Please support their efforts and our community.
The Herald Fire Protection District shall provide protection of life and property, from both Emergency and Non-Emergency situations. This includes the protection from the threat of fire, medical emergencies and the release of hazardous materials. With dedication and integrity, our firefighters desire to proivde a safe community through planning, prvention, education, training, fire supression and rescue activities.
Whether you are a long-time resident or new to the neighborhood, we welcome you to visit with us and to learn a little more about our town we call home.
The Herald Community Club is a non profit organization who hosts community events and wants to help inform you and our residents of what's happening in our town.
The purpose of the 4-H Youth Development program is to help young people discover and develop their potential and grow into competent, contributing, and caring citizens. Learn by doing activities, youth-adult partnerships, and research-based educational programs help young people enhance their leadership abilities and develop a wide range of other life skills.
The Parks & Recreation Department provides a variety of leisure activities for Galt citizens that include youth and adult sports. In addition the department is responsible for The Galt Market, scheduling of parks, pool, community centers, recreational programs, and park information.
County Line Youth Soccer League is an independent non-profit organization that was founded over 29 years ago. CLYSL offers local youth a safe place to work hard, learn, and have fun playing a team sport. Our players, coaches, and referees work hard all season practicing and participating in games while our boardmembers handle the day to day affairs of the league.
Galt Youth Baseball is an opportunity for athletes from 7-15 to learn and play baseball in the city of Galt. There are multiple divisions based on the age and skill level of the athlete.
Club Prime Volleyball (CPV) is an exciting 501c3 non-profit girl’s volleyball and leadership academy for young women between the ages of 10 and 18 living in the Galt, Lodi, and Elk Grove. The Club was established in 2012 by Dana Black-Childress to teach young girls confidence, self-esteem, community involvement, and leadership through the vessel of Indoor Volleyball. Club Prime’s competitive environment attracts girls from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds by embracing a philosophy of inclusion and encouragement. The goal of CPV is to seek out and compete against the best volleyball clubs in Northern California and use every triumph, defeat, struggle, and advancement to teach life lessons to young ladies.
The purpose of Twin Cities Volleyball Club is to develop individual and team volleyball skills, promote sportsmanship, inspire athletes to work hard, and promote positive competitiveness.
